Currently CAA permissions for drone operation in this country operate using VLOS (Visual line of sight). However, there are already companies moving towards

BVLOS (Beyond visual line of sight) Meaning: that a UAS drone can be operated without the pilot being in view of the UAS. This will allow for drones to be deployed by an operator from a bank of screens in a similar way to a security officer controlling cameras, to view assets.
